Blueland’s Co-CEO and Founder Sarah Paji had the idea to launch Blueland after hearing about the abundance of microplastics in the water she was using to dilute her child’s baby formula. Paji wanted to cut back on her plastic consumption, and reduce her contribution to the overabundance of plastic waste in the environment, but felt that as a consumer, she didn’t have a choice. She wanted to do her part to help but found it impossible to find household products that didn’t come packaged in plastic. 

Blueland was created to fill a gap in the market by providing non-toxic yet effective cleaning products that can be refilled by consumer’s at home using refillable bottles. Paji founded Blueland in 2019 with the belief that we shouldn’t have to sacrifice a clean home for a clean planet.
