Delivery Available: United States
Every chocolate bar is made from fully traceable, fair tade cocoa purchased from partner cooperatives in West Africa. Tony's builds long-term relationships with their farmers, supporting their families and investing in their farms to increase sustainable productivity.
Tony's Chocolonely was founded in 2004 as a result of the Dutch television program Keuringsdienst van Waarde that exposed the issue of modern slavery and illegal child labor. Dutch journalist Teun van de Keuken who investigated child slavery in West Africa was so committed to making a difference he produced 5,000 fair trade chocolate bars that sold out immediately.
